Village AiD
Established in 1989, Village AiD is a Derbyshire based charity with supporters throughout the UK. We support and work with, very poor marginalised, rural communities in four countries in West Africa: Cameroon, Sierra Leone, Ghana and The Gambia. We work directly with over 250 communities, in partnership with local NGOs and community organisations. In the UK our office is run by just 4 full time (including 2 overseas programme coordinators) and one part-time staff as well as the help of a team of committed volunteers.
